Shooting Diary
Wednesday 27th October 2010
On wednesday 27th october 2010 I shot my music video within a day in areas in beckton. I had no issues with shooting my music video apart from the unexpected rain at the last scene of my music video, however I was able to work through this and still shoot the scene. I had to provide the props such as the black sofa, and the telephone. On the day of the music video the star motifs make up was done by me so I didn't have to rely anyone to let me down in the end of it. All the directing and videoing was done by e. I have done a lot of mid shots, a few low and high angles. I pretty much enjoyed shooting this music video as it was fun as we were going along with it. We shot three scenes with three different outfits but with the same white telephone in each scene keeping the theme to the song 'Voicemail.'

Evaluating The Planning
The relationship between the lyrics and the visuals sort of relate back to Goodwins theory as the the illustration and direction fo the music video will have everything to do with the lyrics of the song. There isn't quite of an beginning and end, there will be three scenes of the star motif throwing in the star image and making three different types of fashion statements within the music video. My music video is going to be a very fast paced illustration also including the editings and also the track it self has been fast forwarded on an apple mac on garage bang. So the length of the song has gone from 02:58 to 02:00 mins. The style of it is going to be very 90's style fashionista style. Big heels , long songs, belly tops, big hair, wild make-up. The effect of the music video is going to be very olden days with a sepia type of effect on it, but able to show the colours within the music video. My intertextual reference for this music video is going to be the music video 'Beyonce- Why don't you love me' which can be followed on to watch on the following link-
